LOVERS IN THE SKY

"LOVERS IN THE SKY" explores the complex stories of Cristina and La Bonita, two trans cooks who have worked for decades on the cargo ships that tirelessly sail the rivers of the Peruvian Amazon. Facing personal and societal pressures, have begun to detransition themselves: Cristina, to fulfill a promise made to her dead mother and La Bonita, for fear of burning forever in hell.
